UNDP Tunisia: Call for Proposals for Funding Research Projects in the Field of Violent Extremism

UNDP Tunisia, in partnership with the National Commission for Combating Terrorism, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS - General Directorate of Scientific Research, Center for Economic and Social Research), is launching a call for proposals for the establishment of a research fund aimed at promoting a shared understanding of concepts related to violent extremism and relevant prevention strategies.

The call aims at the final production of scientific articles that support the design of action strategies and advocacy useful for public action, and is intended for Tunisian researchers:

Affiliated with a public research or higher education institution (Ph.D. student, postdoctoral researcher, Ph.D., including assistant professor); or

Independent researchers (Ph.D.). The financial support proposed by UNDP under this call for proposals is capped at 26,000 TND per research project and is aimed at research projects to be carried out throughout the Tunisian national territory, by Tunisian researchers.
